German Design Award

The German Design Award is the most renowned design aqard wordwide. An international Jury of experts awarded our outstanding design Quality.

aerosystem^® is a ceiling and room element, consisting of extruding aluminum profile with is covered in two membrane surfaces. The favored used material is PTFE/PVDF – fluoropolymer fabric and ETFE – on the top and bottom. This offers high light transmission and spreading, natural as well as artificial light. Due to low installing height of the foldable frame profiles, LED circuit boards can be installed.

This architecture and design award was initiated to reward fabrics, which fulfill the expectations of architects in a notably way. The most important criteria are functional and design quality, material authenticity and the different application areas.

The reaction concerning the award of innovation was huge and across all sectors. The jury, consisting of five notable architects and interior architects, decided over the architectural quality.

aeronautec achieved with their all-weather solution aerosun^® 365 and the architectural fabric aeroflon^® P1 HYBRID some of the best rankings.
